If I am not wrong then the most of the Padma developer and the
contributor are not familiar with Gurmukhi :-) So it would be good
if you go ahead with the test yourself.  Please follow the instructions
that I wrote in an earlier mail to hack the Padma to enable Gurmukhi and
the Satluj font. Once you are happy with the Gurmukhi display for the
font then please post those files again.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna may be able to help you by accommodating
Gurmukhi in the cvs version (?) !!
