I express my gratefulness for great contribution of Padma for Indic
Computing.

I also like to contribute in by
-- Addting some new Hindi and Oriya Fonts Covnerter Maps

But presently I have to do some Homework on this.

Would you kindly guide:
1. How to use offline your converter at as Internet connections availablity
always in not possible for me.
2. How to add new maps for 8Bitfont<>Unicode (vice versa) converters.
3. Any tutorial

Hi Rawat,

I have the manual transformer running at
http://www.mit.edu/~nagarjun/padma.html.
It is kind of kludgy - it takes a while to start because of all the js
files that are loaded at the beginning. There is someone helping me
with doing this a lot better - but it will be a while before it is
done. Let me know if this works for you.

for an informal guide to get started. Many people on this list
(Saravan, Golum, Anvar among others) are familiar with the code - we
should be able to address any questions that you may have.

I will send you a version of the transformer that you can use offline
in a personal mail.

Subject: [Padma] Malayalam sites not displayed properly on kubuntu

Hi all,
         I installed Padma extension on my firefox and tried accessing a malayalam web site(www.madhyamamonline.com). But the  page is  not being displayed correctly. I tried other Malayalam sites like www.mathrubhumi.com.and those too are not working properly. I have attached a screen shot of the page. Please go through the same and suggest/advice me how to proceed further. I have installed the fonts too. Following are the details.

Hardware: IBM ThinkPad T60
OS:           Kubuntu 7.04 (feisty fawn)
Firefox:     2.0.0.4
Padma:      0.4.11
RTS Output Settings :  Tried both Kanneganti and Pillalamarri

Also, I tried the same on a DELL latitude with same OS and software version. But I am getting the same problem.
