[Optimoz] Problem with Intellimouse

After 2 years finally downloaded a new driver (Intellipoint 6.1) to my mouse, a Microsoft Intellimouse 4.0 Explorer (which is not very comfortable, don't buy it), in order to be able to finally use the tiltwheel. This has lead to problems with my browsing with mouse gestures. Biggest problem is that I can't open new tabs by clicking links with the scrollwheel. Does anybody know how to work around it? Please!
