[Optimoz] Return to tab that opened a tab?

When closing a tab, is there any way to force selection of the tab
that was used to open the tab that is being closed?

For example, I have three tabs open: Tab1, Tab2, and Tab3.  Tab2 and
Tab3 were opened from Tab1.  Currently, if I close Tab3, Tab2 is
automatically selected.  I would like to force Tab1 to be
automatically selected.

The idea is that I may be reading an article in one tab.  I then open
a number of tabs while researching elements of the article.  These
tabs might be opened by gesturing over a link in the article, by
gesturing to open a new tab, etc.  I decide to close one of the
research tabs and want to be sent back to the original article tab
instead of one of the research tabs.

Of course, it can't be assumed that Tab1 is always the originating tab.
