[Needlesearch] Install problem

I installed yesterday the version 1.7.2 (French) of Mozilla, after 
deleting my previous version.
I had needlesearch 2.? installed. Now I want to install the 2.5 version, 
but a message appears saying that I have an older version and I must 
reinstall Mozilla. That's what I did. But it still does not work. By the 
way, NeedleSearch does not appear in the View/Toolbars of my new Mozilla.
How to desinstall manually the old version of NeedleSearch and install 
cleanly the 2.5 one?
