It's possible to point a search to an (mod_rewritten) URL instead of a form?

That is, I wish to make the FF search plugin point to:
http://mysiteblabla.com/seeker/filename_extension_cab.html
instead of:
http://mysiteblabla.com/seeker/seeker.cgi?ext=cab
