Specifically: I want the Google option to search in google.co.il instead of google.com, since the existing search is redirected anyway. No google.xml file in my searchplugins directory, strange. (There are some other xml files there, like wikipedia) Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 From notes at mozdev.org Thu Apr 19 00:28:03 2007 From: notes at mozdev.org (notes at mozdev.org) Date: Thu, 19 Apr 2007 00:28:03 -0700 (PDT) Subject: [Mycroft] Mycroft: [Installing] feedback from Pastisman Message-ID: <20070419072803.07CD084426@mozdev.mozdev.org> http://mycroft.mozdev.org/deepdocs/installing.html#c43 Hi, Don't know how it is on Linux but on Windows you have two directories with searchplugins *.xml files, the one in mozilla installation path and another one in your profile (on Windows it looks like "C:\Documents and Settings\...\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\...\searchplugins". I think that if you have suppressed and reinstalled the plugin it might be in the second one. You are probably looking at: /usr/lib/Mozilla/searchplugins It might be something else, but that's close enough You need to be looking at this path: ~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxxx.default/ -- ------------------------------------------------------- From, MASA Visit my Website @ http://www.gamespotting.net From kaykav at gmail.com Thu Apr 19 20:47:40 2007 From: kaykav at gmail.com (kay kav) Date: Thu, 19 Apr 2007 22:47:40 -0500 Subject: [Mycroft] Mycroft: [Installing] feedback from MASA In-Reply-To: <5a53feb0704191445q60b69a18s6b2c7e3ade2ba94c@mail.gmail.com> References: <5a53feb0704191445q60b69a18s6b2c7e3ade2ba94c@mail.gmail.com> Message-ID: Thank You...Rich On 4/19/07, All your Base wrote: > > The ones that you see are the ones that are installed with Linux firefox. > > You are probably looking at: > > /usr/lib/Mozilla/searchplugins > > It might be something else, but that's close enough > > You need to be looking at this path: > > ~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxxx.default/ > > -- > > ------------------------------------------------------- > From, > MASA > > Visit my Website @ http://www.gamespotting.net > _______________________________________________ > Mycroft mailing list > Mycroft at mozdev.org > http://mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/mycroft >
