I know I hate ads, and junk like that. But unforunately, where will the
money come from? I mean mozdev won't pay you. They have enough debt as it
is. Mozilla won't pay you. Mycroft is one of the biggest projects on mozdev
and someone needs to make money. At least the link doesn't redirect you
first to porn, or spyware. But if mycroft didn't make money (pay for
mirrors, bandwidth, site info, space) you would see ads (adblock can't block
everything), popups, etc. That isn't cool. Then no one would go to mycroft.
And if no one did then how will people get their search plugins?

Being a website owner I totally understand why he is doing this. But you
being a user think that you have been cheated. Because ebay is so popular it
is gonna have a ton of people use it. Which means money for the site. Which
goes to resources.
