You are correct to say that some eBay plugins redirect via other servers -
this is the official eBay affiliate scheme.
This has only very minor effects on speed - the only issue is that a blank
search does not go to the correct place - this is really a code issue as the
searchform tag should be used for blank search.
In order to support Mycroft, some plugins do use affiliate links - I simply
couldn't afford to spend as much time working on mycroft otherwise.
You are of course free to modify the plugin as you wish (comment out the
update tags to avoid it being overwritten) but I won't change the currently
hosted plugin.

The present ebay.in plugin present on the site first sends the data to an
alternate site http://www.anrdoezrs.net which then redirects the query to
the ebay.in site. This is unecessary diversion of data, which is not
required, the plugin i submitted metions the direct url to ebay.in and
works, as i have tested it on my machine
