[Mycroft] RE: Fire fox Search Engines

i am still unable to add search engines after following the instructions
given on: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Search_engines_disappear_from_Search_Bar

i lost quite a few search engines also: clusty, altavista, msn, and scroogle
all vanished.

i still have: google, yahoo, answers, creative commons.

i am using firefox version 1.5.0.6 on a Mac with OS 10.4. Non intel.


i reverted to using a folder for search engines in my bookmarc toolbar; but,
using the search bar directly was faster.
