[Mozile] Status of Mozile?

Hi Matias,

Here's the story: In the fall of 2006 my work on Mozile led to a
series of contracts which took up all my coding time for about a year.
Some of that work was on Mozile itself, and some of that code can be
released open source. So yes, I do have a pile of uncommitted Mozile
0.8 code.

This past fall (2007) I started a PhD, and my wife and I had a baby --
both of which take precedence over my other projects. As you can
imagine, putting together a new Mozile release means a lot of work,
because there's always a few more bugs that push the finish line
further back. What I should do is give up on those details and just
commit the code.

So I promise to do my best to find the time this week and commit what
I've got.

If other people want to take up more active development then I'll make
the time to get them up to speed on 0.8, which is a pretty good code
base to build on. I won't be able to do full time development myself
in the foreseeable future. On the other hand, I'd really like to see
the project continue. I managed to make some money from it, so maybe
other people can too.

James
