[Mozile] Mozile and Dojo

For the last couple of months I've been writing JavaScript code on
contract. Most of that work has involved the Dojo toolkit (http://
dojotoolkit.org/). I've been mulling over the possibility of merging
Mozile into Dojo, and I wanted to hear what the members of the list
think of the idea.

As I see it, these are the pros and cons.

Pros:
- Take advantage of a bigger development community.
- Get the benefit of a large library of functionality, including GUI
tools and a fancy packaging system.
- One-stop-shopping for developers trying to build complex pages,
including editing plus other functionality.

Cons:
- Porting would be a fair bit of work up-front.
- Requires a license change.
- Dojo is one of many JavaScript toolkits, and everyone has their own
favourite.
- Mozile + a toolkit will be more heavy-weight than Mozile alone.

I haven't made a decision one way or the other. I'm just thinking it
over. And I'm sure there are advantages and disadvantages I haven't
considered.

What do you think?

James
