Hi James,

Thank you so much for your quick reply. Your solution worked so my problem
is solved. Thanks!

Hi Bieneke,

There are two solutions to your problem: (1) the easier, slightly
inconvenient, secure method, and (2) the harder, slightly more
convenient, insecure method.

The easy way (which I recommend) is to us the "Save as Dialog" save
option, then copy the source code and paste it into a text editor
(Notepad or Wordpad, for example). Save the file in the text editor
as "filename.html" and you'll have a working HTML file.

The insecure method sets your browser to grant web pages enhanced
privileges in some cases. Access to local files requires enhanced
privileges as a security precaution, but this method removes some of
that protection. What you have to do is type "about:config" in your
Firefox addressbar, then find the
"signed.applets.codebase_principal_support" preference and set it to
"true". Now when Mozile tries to save to a local file you'll see a
warning dialog, then it will let you save. Again, because this method
is insecure, I suggest you use the cut and paste method instead.

In the future Mozile 0.8 will have a secure *and* convenient method
for saving to local files (which will require you to install an
extension), but unfortunately that part isn't finished yet.

James
