[Mozile] idea for powerful,
but easy functionality: 'style marker' see URL

By "cuts across boundaries" do you meant that Mozile sometimes
changes content outside editable areas (which happens and should be
fixed), or that it behaves badly with spans and divs within editable
areas?
I understand your idea for editing just the element with the current
focus. It's certainly feasible. What would you want to happen when
the "enter" key is pressed?
