[Mozile] BXE and RNG integration

Hello all,

I've recently been exploring the idea of taking BXE ( http://
wiki.bitfluxeditor.org/Main_Page and http://bitfluxeditor.org/ ),
built on a very old version of Mozile, and rebuilding it to run on
the newer Mozile, which looks much more stable and much faster. I
also see that you're working on RNG based editing.

Is there any relationship between the mozile project and BXE, apart
from BXE being based on the old Mozile? BXE has fully implemented
RNG based editing based on the old Mozile. Would it be in anyone's
interest to bring that into Mozile (which is what I'm planning to do)
as the RNG parsing functions are very stable in BXE.

We use BXE as an editor in an Apache Lenya based content managment
system specifically because of its reliance on RNG schemas to define
XML docs.

My interest in the new Mozile is it's speed and stability, and one
way or another I have to get BXE up to speed. It'd be nice to do it
in a way that could be contributed back to the Mozile project.

Suggestions on how best to do that would be appreciated, if it's at
all possible.

Thanks for the work.

-doug
