A new Mozile 0.8 preview is available. The key change is improved
RNG support. It's expected to work in Mozilla 1.8 (Firefox 1.5,
SeaMonkey 1.0, Camino 1.0), Mozilla 1.7 (Firefox 1.0, Mozilla Suite),
Internet Explorer 6, Opera 9.0p2. Safari is not working. I'm having
some trouble with Opera 9.0b
and the test suite, but validation seems to work.
Try it out here:

I've been pleased to find that the Opera 9 previews haven't given me
much trouble. However Safari is a major disappointment. It has major
stability problems with its XML system. I've seen the following two
kinds of browser crashes regularly:

I haven't been able to work around them.
Revising the RNG code to work cross-browser has taken more time than
writing the code in the first place (not quite as long a the
prototyping + rewrite). Some of that time includes the learning
curve, but the majority was spent debugging in various browsers.
The next stage it get the editing command system up and running. I'm
hoping that will go faster. Optimism has always been one of my faults.
