By bloody pool-rattling, gasping his last.
Late February, and the air's so balmy
Of observation lying on the ground
Glimmering of light:
Centimeters-that the height of the canvas
But what I am looking at is hardened snow,
Before those virile women!
The earth beneath his feet, in its dark cape,
Is the moon to grow
Two of us, Docteur and Madame Machin, who stand
In white, in paint too representative
I know,
I draw near to one of them, the lowest,
Come, swallows, it's good-bye.
Glimmering of light:
"Now it's my turn to sing!"
IX. After the Great Northern Expedition
Event, the end of the painted road ends up
Against this sky no longer of our world.
