So when we see a performance problem, we tend to think about places in
our code that we can imagine being performance problems. One way is to
write a mechanism that tells the model or the controller not to
propagate a change notification under these circumstances, but this is
not a good idea. So if you just go by what you're familiar with, you'll
be looking for your keys in the kitchen. Some programmers see the
trade-off and think it's great, while others resist it and code Java
programs as if they were coding in C, thereby getting the benefits of
neither. Tell it what you want, and it will do its damnedest to make
your application run as fast as it can. Likewise, authors of new classes
have to choose between implementations. They should understand that
concurrency is hard but not impossible. This is common in Java
technology-based enterprise applications.
It notifies the controller of its property change. idpEntityID The IdP
identifier for authentication. With a traditional MVC design, the view
would still contain the previous value, and the change in the model
would update the view to the current value.
