This new version requires some prototyping and there will be beta releases on the modify headers website. These will be posted on the site and announced on the blog. The main blockers for this are other projects and commitments that I have at the moment. It was me who created that long modifyheaders.xml file that had the blank name that caused it not to be able to be imported. We've resolved that, thank you. Now I have another question. I've made some changes to my modify headers file. I've exported it to Michael thinking that when he imported it it would do a complete overwrite of what he had. That doesn't seem to be the case though. It looks like it puts in the additional headers that I've added into his but in no particular order. I've looked to see if I can figure out where this file is located so that he could delete it and then do an import but I was not able to find it. Is the only option for him to delete the entries he has one at a time and then import the file I sent him? I looked in Help for something about importing but didn't see anything there that addressed this. Thank you in advance for your time. (Over it now though). There are several things to know about the import function: 1. It will only import headers you don't have already. It does a compare on the method, name and value to determine if there is a match. 2. If there are no new headers in the import file, it will through up a message "You have all those headers already". 3. If there are any headers you don't have, these are added to the end of the list in the order found in the imported file. I think your final question is about header storage. They are stored as preferences, which use an internal Firefox storage mechanism. You will have to delete each one manually. Perhaps I should add a batch remove function.
