From mozdev at ptoye.com Wed Nov 26 10:15:23 2008 From: mozdev at ptoye.com (Peter Toye) Date: Wed, 26 Nov 2008 18:15:23 +0000 Subject: [MinimizeToTray] Newbie question about Firefox versions Message-ID: <1808383900.20081126181523@ptoye.com> I had MTT installed on my Firefox v.2 and it worked fine. Now I've upgraded to V.3, Firefox tells me that MTT isn't compatible. I notice that the Mozdev web site says that it's compatible with the latest version, and then mentions Firefox 1.0.7 which is a bit ancient! Does anyone know when MTT will be updated to work with FF 3.0.4? I tried FF v3.0+ in Windows and in Linux (Ubuntu). I also contacted the software creator and he advised me that it will never work in Linux because it depends on some C++ code. So, that killed it for me. ineuw Peter Toye wrote: > I had MTT installed on my Firefox v.2 and it worked fine. Now I've upgraded > to V.3, Firefox tells me that MTT isn't compatible. You can contact them by clicking on their names. ineuw Jackson wrote: > Hi, > > I would like to help, but I don't know what I need to, because I would > like this amazing extension working on ffox 3.x too. > I tried to see the source code but I'm newbie on this. > > Thanks. > _______________________________________________ > MinimizeToTray mailing list > MinimizeToTray at mozdev.org > https://www.mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/minimizetotray > > -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
