[MinimizeToTray] Problems with TB1.5 and MinimizeToTray - freezing

This is the very first time I've heard of a report of Thunderbird 
freezing with MMT. 

Could you do the following tests for me?

1) Run TB 1.5 a while without the extension installed and keep the 
window open.  See if it freezes (I know you've done this once, but try 
it again).
2) Run TB 1.5 a while without the extension installed...and this time, 
keep the window minimized.  See if that makes it freeze.
3) Run TB 1.5 with the extension, and keep the window open.   See if 
that makes it freeze.
4) Run TB 1.5 with the extension, and minimize it to tray.   See if that 
makes it freeze.

I hate to put you through a lot of tests, but out of tens of thousands 
of people who this extension, we've never had a report like yours.  I'm 
hoping that those 4 tests will help narrow down or shed some light on 
the problem.
