There are a number of things that could cause this.  If you can, first, 
try to reinstall the extension from the installation links here: 
http://minimizetotray.mozdev.org/installation.html

If that doesn't work, let me know what Mozilla product you are using 
(such as Firefox or Thunderbird), and let me know what version you are 
running on.
