First, it would be difficult to have Ctrl+Shift+M restore the 
Thunderbird window.  Once it is minimized to tray, then Windows takes 
over.  It would be tough for us to write something that catches 
keystrokes during this time.  But I sure wish I could.

Second, we do have plans to always keep the tray icon in the tray, 
regardless of whether the window is minimized or not.  This is part of 
the -turbo mode project.  It is still a ways off, but our number one 
priority.
