In the extension manager (Under tools and then extensions) right click 
on a listed extension and select disable. The extension would be 
disabled (not deleted) the next time you start firefox. Although what 
Allister indicated earlier is probably the cause, you can be thorough 
and see if it is in fact an extension conflict that's causing the problem.
