I have many many maff files saved, but now I cannot open them as before.
Neither clicking nor Opening one does anything. Also, I was running Maf
v.?? (don't remember) so I thought getting the latest would help.
Unininstalled v.?? and installed v.0.5.0 - no help there. In fact, things
are worse. Under v.?? I could at least still Save pages in MAF from the
file menu. Under 0.5.0 there's nothing under file.
Read over the online FAQ, looked into the extension's Prefs, everything
seems right, except the file associations for maf/maff/mht are unchecked.
Hmm, that's probably it, methinks. Check them, and try Save. Up comes
"Windows Script Host access is disabled". So I think maybe one of the
various Safe XP things I've set up have it turned off. I don't really even
know what Windows Script Host is, so a Google, and then a link over to
Symantec - http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/win.script.hosting.html
where I get and run Noscript.exe. The program is supposed to detect one's
Windows Script Host status and then prompt for a toggle. But, for me it
reports my Windows Script Host IS enabled, do I want to disable it?
So I dunno if Windows Script Host is on or off, but I miss my maff !!
