Firefox has a security feature that limits Internet installable 
extensions to pre-approved sites by default. The site that MAF is hosted 
on, mozdev.org isn't in the whitelist. The easiest thing to do is right 
click on the download link and save the XPI to disk. You can then 
install it by using File -> Open and then selecting the XPI you just 
downloaded.
