[Maf] Problem with 0.6.2

I've installed MAFF 0.6.2 in Firefox 1.0.6 running under Windows 2000 
SP4 + security rollup. (I was using 0.5.0)

The new version has installed OK, and can save webpages, but when I try 
to reload pages previously saved either as MAF or MHT files, *sometimes* 
these load OK, but in most cases I get the message that:

"You have chosen to open XXXXXX which is a Mozilla Archive Format. What 
should Firefox do with this file?"

If I right click on a MAF or MHT file and select Open With or Send To, 
the file opens OK, so it would seem that Windows has not properly linked 
these file types with Firefox/MAFF

In FF's Tools/Mozilla Archive Format/Preferences I've ticked the boxes 
to asociate MAFF with MHT and MAF file formats, while Windows Explorer 
Tools/Folder Options/File Types shows that both of these filetypes are 
set to open with FireFox.

Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong?
