I'm assumming here Bill meant a release that's compatible with Firefox
1.0 PR. The next release of MAF is a major rewrite. As much code as I
can move is being XPCOMized and while doing that I'm code auditing and
adding new features. Not everything is complete, but so far, in addition
to moving to an XPCOM interface, I've added a maf protocol and mime type
(application/maf) to better interact with Mozilla. As an end user you
may not see any cosmetic changes, but in the end it would make MAF more
stable and easily usable by other extensions. I am overdue for the
release though, mostly due to hardware problems on my main development
machine (I was using a backup P2-400 but I finally got the money to fix
my main machine). There will most likely be a release by Monday 27th and
if not, I'm aiming for before the end of September.

Regards,
Christopher.
