Hello all,

First off let me thank Xavier Robin and the eXtenZilla.it team for
providing French and Italian MAF localizations respectively. I've
reworked the MAF internals quite a bit. Although unreleased, the source
for what I've done so far is in CVS. Services are now true XPCOM
component services written in javascript. This means it's now really
easy to consume MAF services (to write an extension of my extension for
example). The component responsible for decoding MHTs is implemented to
meet the full RFC 2557 spec (that took quite a long time). This means
MAF now has full, standards compliant MHT decoding support. There will
be a single XPI when the next version of MAF is released as I've gotten
too many complaints that MAF doesn't work by people running windows that
install the linux version. The default file extension for saving is now
*.maff, but MAF will open both *.maff and *.maf files. I'm not releasing
0.4.0 until I have a chance to test it on Firefox 1.0PR, but that might
be a while, so I'm keeping everyone informed as to what to expect when
it is released. I haven't finished moving code to XPCOM components and
that must be finished before 0.4.0 is ready. I'll also be working on bug
fixes and implementing additional preferences before the release.

Regards,
Chris.
