My guess would be that MAF is
A) borked
B) don't like pages with macromedia flash (ad) at the top
C) very selective about which pages it allows to be archived


And now something completely different, it would seem like MAF don't
like Linux/AMD64,  I've tried it on mozilla 1.7.x (32bin build from
gentoo's portage) it gives the same error as on firefox 1.0PR (also
32bin build from portage); MAF says all whent okay but the maff file is
nowhere to be found. I've had limited success with archiving pages with
MAF on windows, so limited that MAF isn't worth the bother, Im back to
'save page to ps/pdf' (ugly result but readable and with a 100% success
rate).
