Well, sounds like something got severely messed up with the MAF post 
install routine for your configuration. The easiest fix I can think of 
is to delete all the maf preferences and the maf folder. To remove the 
maf preferences, edit the prefs.js in your profile folder using notepad 
and remove all the lines that start user_pref("maf. and list the name 
and value. Ensure you have Mozilla/Firefox closed BEFORE editing the 
prefs.js file. Removing the maf folder (again in the profile folder) 
should be easy enough. Now, the next time Mozilla/Firefox starts, the 
scripts will be re-created and you should be able to create maff files 
once more.
