Since IE is part of XP that can't really be removed, and we are
unfortunately apparently always going to need IE (since for one
reason, FF has no Taskbar hover/show in full screen mode), IE
is still set to open all .mht files by default. So, that
solves any problem of FF not being able to read modified .mht
files. :-) I can continue to save important webpages in the
.mht format via FF, and open them in IE once they are on the
HD. I just tried to modify a page saved by FF in .mht format,
and it opened up again in IE and worked fine.

Great extension, thanks again guys.

.maff by default is a zip file. Unzip, edit, zip back and
you'll be
fine. You can also try the NukeAnything extension to visually
delete
objects before you save the page.

If you don't follow the MHT part encoding (Quoted-Printable for
example)
then MAF may not be able to decode your changed MHT.

CVS is public and you can distribute CVS builds once you
clearly
indicate that it's not an official release. I also don't cater
for CVS
build incompatibilities when I release the official version,
not to
mention some things might be missing.
I'm trying to have a feature complete, translated version
of 0.4.3
available this week, before Nov 9th.

Regards,
Christopher.
