[Maf] (no subject)

Hi folks,

This might sound stupid, but how do I (or what do I use) to install a ***.xpi file, mainly maf and jeview.  I couldn't find a shred of useful info on the site that covers this - and Win XP does not see it as a valid file type.  (According to conventional wisdom there is usually information on any given site on how to install software - from that site ESPECIALLY IF THE FILE TYPE IS NOT STANDARD).

Any help would be appreciated,
