[Maf] File associations?

Hi,

I've just come across Maf, your mozilla/firefox extension, and just want
to say that it looks great. Being able to save web pages as a single
file was about the only thing left that i missed from IE.

I do have one minor question/request though (sorry!). Is there anyway to
  setup the windows file association for .maf and .mht so that when one
of those icons is double clicked the page opens correctly in Firefox?

I've tried setting Firefox.exe to be the default application for that
file type, but this just results in a firefox prompt asking whether to
download or open the file, if i select open a new tab is created but the
prompt reappears. This can be repeated forever.

Am i doing something wrong, or this not possible at this time?

BTW this is on Windows XPPro, with Firefox 0.93 and MAF 0.3.0.
