For the technically enabled there is a straight forward way to handle
this for Livehttpheaders or any other extension. For Livehttpheaders:

1 - Find the Extensions.rdf file in your profiles directory
2 - Open it with a text editor
3 - Find the "RDF" that looks like:

<RDF:Description
RDF:about="urn:mozilla:extension:{8f8fe09b-0bd3-4470-bc1b-8cad42b8203a}"
         em:version="0.9"
         em:name="LiveHTTPHeaders"
em:description="View HTTP headers of a page and while browsing."

    <em:contributor>Richard Mlynarik</em:contributor>
    <em:contributor>Stefan Trcek</em:contributor>
    <em:contributor>Sven Anders</em:contributor>
    <em:contributor>Wojtek Meler</em:contributor>
    <em:targetApplication RDF:resource="rdf:#$xOij03"/>

4 - The last line contains the "resource identification" rdf:#$xOij03
5 - Find the "RDF" with that identification:

<RDF:Description RDF:about="rdf:#$xOij03"
                   em:id="{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}"
                   em:minVersion="0.8"
                   em:maxVersion="1.0+" />

6 - If the em:maxVersion is not 1.0 or 1.0+, make it so.

Note this will work for any extension 99% of the time.
