When I login to Chrome I was able to install the extension from the store and from our local link. -Mark

The Chrome store builds the .crx itself - we upload only the code - so I'm guessing at this point that it may be a problem on your end (not a problem you've caused, obviously).

Googlings reveals users found this problem intermittent, and sometimes dependent on whether the were logged into Chrome. Gosh, we're now logging into our browsers. What else will want authentication in the future.

Both from the Chrome Web store and from the local link we host.

Any suggestions on how to install in Chrome?

Thanks,
Mark
