Our OpenURL (i.e., EBSCO LinkSource) buttons disappeared from Wikipedia reference entries. Is there a way to bring them back? They were there a little while ago.

Please help if you can.

Hi Mathew,

This is fixed now. COinS are working now for Wikipedia.

Please let me know, if you have any questions.

Is anyone having any trouble with LibX not picking up COinS from Wikipedia?

Ours is working well for COinS on other pages (e.g., WorldCat search results, or this page: http://ocoins.info/ ), but not for Wikipedia.

For example, on this page<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D_H_Lawrence> I can see that in the list of footnoted references, #10, 12, 14, 15, 17 and 18 all have COinS span tags, but none of them display, either in Firefox or Chrome.

I might be missing something, but the only difference I can see is that these Wikipedia spans have a nested span within them that has a style tag with a "display: none" attribute, which may be hiding it?

<span class="Z3988" title="ctx_ver=Z39.88-2004&rft_val_fmt=info%3Aofi%2Ffmt%3Akev%3Amtx%3Abook&rft.genre=bookitem&rft.btitle=D.H.+Lawrence+Forbidden+Art&rft.atitle=&rft_id=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lafondataos.com<http://2Fwww.lafondataos.com>%2Fdhlawrence.html&rfr_id=info:sid/en.wikipedia.org:D._H._Lawrence"><span style="display: none;"> </span></span>

Does anyone know if that's the issue, and if so, why Wikipedia includes that interior span tag?

On the other hand, if I use the Claremont Colleges' toolbar instead of our own (theirs is version 1.5.14, ours is 2.0.15372.0), it picks up all these Wikipedia COinS. So that makes me think it's an issue with version 2.0 that will hopefully be resolved as that version becomes more stable.

Anyone have any insight on this?
