[LibX] Libx Digest, Vol 59, Issue 2

I am seeing that too. What happened here was, I rebuilt my LibX toolbar and
upgraded the toolbar before upgrading my Firefox to 5.0. After upgrading to
FF 5, Firefox disabled my LibX toolbar and marked it as incompatible. I had
to manually reinstall, and now it seems to works, but I am worried that
users will not try that and just assume they cannot use it anymore. Should
a rebuilt LibX toolbar be recognized as compatible when upgrading to FF 5?

Hi, there,

Several MIT users have reported that Firefox 5 isn't auto-detecting the new
edition of LibX 1.5, even after I had rebuilt it and made it live a few days
ago. After they uninstall and reinstall LibX, it's fine. Anyone else
having this problem?

Thanks much!
Remlee

Will 1.0 also be rebuilt for those of us not using the beta release?

Godmar updated LibX 1.5 yesterday. Here's the announcement (from
http://libx.org -> Announcements):

*Jun 21, 2011:* LibX's maxVersion has been updated to be compatible with FF
5.0. We actually set maxVersion to 7.0, so it'll remain compatible even if
FF updates more frequently. Build a new revision, test it, and make it live
for your users. We'll do an auto-rebuild for registered maintainers shortly.
