Here is what Dartmouth uses:

http://wfxsearch.webfeat.org/wfsearch/search
?Command=Search
&Client_ID= YOUR CLIENT ID
&rtmpl=js
&format=JS
&wf_codeset=utf-8
&noserial=1
&wf_all_years=yes
&useSessions=1
&wf_field1=wf_all
&selectedCatName= CATEGORY NAME
&Databases= DATABASE IDs IN THAT CATEGORY (separated by commas; an example would
be wf_ebscoxml_bth,wf_wilson_humabs,wf_artfulltext,wf_ebscoxml_ahl,wf_pubmed)
&wf_term1= LIBX VARIABLE FOR SEARCH TERMS

you can use WebFeat's Quick Search Code Generator to create the search you want
and then load the resulting URL of the SRC attribute of the SCRIPT tag into a
browser to see the search form and figure out how to construct the appropriate
URL for libx.
