I have just done a completely clean install, using MozBackup to save my stuff (except the old extension settings). Still get the error....I don't seem to get it generally with other extensions (although I have only installed Delicious so far). Any thoughts? If it's installed, and not disabled, does right-clicking on a page give you the View this Page in IE option as expected? -paul From paul at roub.net Thu Jul 31 13:51:17 2008 From: paul at roub.net (Paul Roub) Date: Thu, 31 Jul 2008 15:51:17 -0500 Subject: [Ieview] IE View not compatible In-Reply-To: References: <4891CFE6.10308@roub.net> <124E2CCA2A0544A2A2E0384A5E4EF1A5@Emachines> <48920BC8.7080500@roub.net> Message-ID: <489225C5.3060703@roub.net> > 3. You right click, one of the options is "View this page in IE". You select that, and IE launches. If that works, then I may be misunderstanding what problem you're having. What are you expecting to see, or be able to do, that you can't do now? -paul From paul at roub.net Thu Jul 31 13:54:02 2008 From: paul at roub.net (Paul Roub) Date: Thu, 31 Jul 2008 15:54:02 -0500 Subject: [Ieview] IE View not compatible In-Reply-To: References: <4891CFE6.10308@roub.net> Message-ID: <4892266A.90506@roub.net> Rasmus Jensen wrote: > Ah, of course - the newest of both - FF3 and the 1.3.7. > > Someone on the Lite site is talking about a similar error it seems - > https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1429 > As mentioned, I get the error for both versions. > The two have nothing to do with each other; IE View Lite is a sort-of rewrite of IE View. Some IE View code, and all the features, are copied, but I have nothing to do with that one. So IE View is in your Add-Ons list, but disabled? Or do you get an error when trying to install it? If so, from where? -paul
