[Ieview] Ie view won't open file links containing å

Hi!

I want to be able to launch explorer when clicking on a file:// link 
in firefox. Ie view is able to do that but file links containing the 
character å (or %C3%A5) won't load.
(Such links are working with the Firefox add-on Ie tab but I don't 
want a tab, I want a new window).

Is this a known bug?
