From cassadyb at ae.ca Mon May 1 15:59:47 2006 From: cassadyb at ae.ca (Bart Cassady) Date: Mon May 1 17:01:15 2006 Subject: [Ieview] JavaScript window.open() support Message-ID: Our company standard browser is Firefox, but we are implementing a web application that requires IE. This application is started by a JavaScript window.open() call that sizes the window, removes toolbars, etc.. I have tried IEView with this application, but have the following dilemma: 1) If I have IEView handle the page that has the window.open() call in it, I get an extra IE window. Of course, if I try to JavaScript window.close() it, I get a user prompt for confirmation. 2) On the other hand, if I have IEView just handle the window.open() destination URL, the resulting popup window still has the toolbar, etc.. Is it possible to get IEView to respect the options set in the window.open() call?
