Therefore, I cannot use Internet Explorer connected to anything else except the company network. Firefox works perfectly, and I have that installed and use that at home. However, web software which the company uses doesn't render properly in Firefox, making it impossible to use when at home. I've tried IEtab, but the problem is it tries to use Internet Explorer's connection settings, which don't work! My question is, is there a way for IEtab to use Firefox connection settings instead of Microsoft's? Stuart Pinfold -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Therefore other browsers do not properly function when the companies write their browser enabled software to Microsucks code. This is part of the dispute with the Department of Justice Supreme Court Distirct 8 in state of Delaware. The court has not made Microsucks eleimate their monopoly position. Thus this mess continues; locking everyone out but IE including UNIX and Mac users which cannot run IE. Make your frustrations known to DOJ 8th Distirct. --- Stuart Pinfold wrote: > Hi all, > > I have a company laptop, which has Internet Explorer connections > settings > disabled. I was just working on how to explain it properly to them so they would devote proper resources to fix their site. thanks so much for the suggestion and succinct explanation (much needed) and if you do have any info you could pass along to make it easy to get to the right people at the DOJ 8th that would also be much appreciated! -Lisa Duluth, Ga.
