[Ietab] IETab and Human initiated Javascript popups when in IE Mode

First of all, I am not a member of this mailing list, so if anyone knows the
answer, please email me at mmortal03 at hotmail.com .
To get the most common out of the way, I have already configured Firefox to
allow ietab popups.
Given this, my problem is that when I am viewing a website in IE Mode that
contains Javascript popup window links, and I left click on these links,
they are opened into a new tab instead of popping up into a new window.
This is specifically the case for CNN.com (the "Watch" links on the front
page).
This differs from how I have Firefox set up, which, with the following
settings, opens these type of Javascript popup windows in a new tab ONLY if
they have no size attributes:
browser.link.open_newwindow 3
browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction 2
I am going to postulate that the incongruent behavior is happening because
when a tab is in IEMode, Firefox does not know whether or not the Javascript
popup link has size attributes, and so is opening the link into a new tab as
any other Javascript popup would.
It is either that, or IETab has its own link-opening logic related to popup
window links.
Thanks in advance
