Is there an actual web site with detailed instructions on how to USE
Greasmonkey? Or don't you want anyone to actually use it?
Someone wrote a DNA digesting script that he wants everyone to use, but he
doesn't want to provide actual instructions on how to use it. He
literally (just about) wrote put the whatever in the wherever, do you
understand now?
The greasemonkey web site has no instructions any place.
Google can find mostly pages on how to find scripts and how to write them.
One page doesn't even load content; maybe it was written with Greasemonkey,
I don't know. One page has a screencap of teh greasemonkey screen but
doesn't tell you what to do with it.
It seems that even books on greasemonkey tell only how to write scripts.
I need to know how to add a script to greasemonkey. I need to know if you
are given the url where the script is and nothing more and you're told to
put it into greasemonkey, where exactly are you supposed to put it. What
are the include and exclude boxes, and what, in detail, please, do you do
with them, and how do you do it?
Once you've done all this, how do you get the greasemonkey script to work on
an actual page?
Yours,
