[Greasemonkey] Firefox 2.0 RC update?

I've seen this "extensions.checkCompatibility" set to false for GreaseMonkey 
before...  My concern is that it is not GM-specific and affects all extensions. 
  Does this turn off compatibility checking altogether?  What's the plan for 
re-enabling this functionality?
