I guess Ruby is okay if you have to use it, or just want to.
It's better than Perl, anyway. Anything's better than Perl.
But I always suggest PHP. (with MySQL)
I can guarantee you wouldn't be having problems if you were using PHP.
(If I had anything to do with it, anyway)
