stealing pref values by pretending to be another GmScript
is already possible to do, so it wouldn't be any different
in that respect

which is why you shouldn't store sensitive data as
config preference values

here is a link to an MD5 hash library and some other
good encryption info for those who want to attempt
storing sensitive data "safely" (note the quotes)

something like this should probably be incorporated into
Gm so that people can use it if they want without people
having to duplicate code
