Walla indeed. I understand not wanting to have to reinstall all your
extensions. In fact, since you've got things the way you like them
now, you might consider backing up that profile:

Then if you install any other extensions that mysteriously bork
firefox, you can restore it to its previously pristene state in a
trice.
