Britt (mostly) and I have written a forum for userscripts, we've been trying
to get the server to settle down before we unveil new functionality. We had
purchased a new dell server at the begining of the year to host just
userscripts.org --- although the transition was not smooth. Turns out it
was the server itself as we moved it back to the old server and it is doing
better (the new server is twice as good as the old server).
So Britt spent today formating and reinstalling the new server. During
which he saw some /dev/sda[x] errors being thrown. The machine has raid, so
perhaps one of the drives failed and the server was doing it's best chuging
along. Tomorrow Britt is going to determine whats up with the new server
and hopefully get it going again so we can deploy the forums.
